Responsibilities:

• Assist Classroom Teachers: Collaborate with teachers to support students during lessons, ensuring their understanding and engagement.
• Individualized Support: Work with students on a one-on-one basis or in small groups, providing targeted assistance based on their needs.
• Behaviour Management: Foster a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere, helping maintain discipline and encouraging positive behaviour.
• Resource Preparation: Assist in preparing teaching materials and resources.
• Supervision: Monitor students during break times and other non-classroom activities.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience as a teaching assistant is desirable but not essential. However, prior experience working with children is required.
• Qualifications: A relevant teaching assistant qualification is advantageous.
• Adaptability: Ability to work flexibly across different year groups and subjects.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication with students, staff, and parents.
