We work closely with a local Fareham Secondary School who are looking for a Geography Teacher for September. The role is full time, although part time job shares would be considered.
Payment to scale for Teachers with Qualified Teacher Status.
Responsibilities:
- Experience of Teaching Humanities to GCSE level
- Shorter term planning will be required, and PPA time provided.
- The successful candidate will prove they are effective collaborators with all staff, and visitors.
- Successful candidates will have a working knowledge of safeguarding.
- To actively contribute towards a positive culture within the school.
- Taking responsibility for your personal Health and Safety at work, reporting concerns.
- Being committed to an ‘opportunities for all’ culture.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent.
- DBS Enhanced Disclosure
- Teaching References
- A passion for teaching, and good knowledge of the subject area, to help maintain standards
- To establish appropriate relationships with young people and other professionals
- Be reliable, enthusiastic, creative and honest
- Have the ability to engage all students
