Principal Education is recruiting a dedicated and student-focused 6th Form SEND Deputy Head of Year to support the academic, pastoral and personal development of students within a thriving sixth form setting.
Responsibilities:- Provide pastoral support to sixth form students.
- Support students with SEND to achieve their full potential.
- Monitor attendance, behaviour and progress.
- Work closely with teaching staff, families and external agencies.
- Assist with transition, interventions and student wellbeing.
- Experience working with secondary or post-16 students.
- Strong understanding of SEND provision.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Experience in pastoral or student support roles desirable.
