A friendly and ambitious primary school in Streatham is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Class Teacher to join their team from September. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to work within a supportive school community committed to high standards and pupil achievement.

The Role

The successful candidate will:
  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
  • Use effective assessment strategies to monitor progress and raise attainment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and senior leaders
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school community
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
  • Is passionate about inspiring and motivating pupils
  • Has excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a positive attitude to the role
