Position: Reception/Foundation Stage 2 Teacher

Location: South Sheffield Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term (September 2024 - July 2025)

Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm Qualifications: QTS required, ECTs welcome to apply

About Us: We are a welcoming and vibrant primary school situated in the heart of south Sheffield. We believe in the importance of early childhood education and are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to join our dedicated team.

The Role: We are seeking a qualified teacher to work in our Reception/Foundation Stage 2 class on a full-time basis from September 2024. This is a fixed-term position until July 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full teaching role, including planning, preparation, and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of all students in the Reception/Foundation Stage 2 class.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning and fosters a love for education.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative teaching strategies.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply and will be provided with support for their induction.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
