Reeson Education is currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join an SEN unit at a primary school in Vauxhall. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with primary-aged children with Autism in a supportive and structured environment.

• Position Type: Full-Time, SEN Teaching Assistant
• Class Structure: 10 students per class, supported by 4 Teaching Assistants

Responsibilities for SEN Teaching Assistant:

• As an SEN Teaching Assistant, provide tailored support to primary-aged children with Autism.
• Assist in creating and maintaining a supportive, structured learning environment.
• Work closely with the class teacher and other teaching assistants to deliver individualized education plans.
• Support students' academic and social development through one-on-one and group activities.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere, ensuring each child's needs are met.

Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant, particularly with children with Autism, is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting SEN students.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute positively to the classroom environment.
• Availability for an immediate start after half term and willingness to undergo a trial day.
