TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with a private day-nursery based in the Southport area. This setting provides high-quality care to all children placed at the setting. They ensure that all staff members are well-versed in the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding to best support the children in their care. The setting provides various learning opportunities throughout the day, allowing the children to grow and develop their skills to ensure developmental milestones are met and support is given when necessary. 

The nursery is looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Assistant to join their team. To start, this will be on daily bookings, week to week. There will then be opportunities to gain longer term placements, and even a permanent role for the correct candidate. You will be supported by the entire nursery team, while gaining experience working with children between 6 months and 4 years old. The correct candidate will be flexible in their approaches to learning and learning new skills. 

As an Early Years Assistant, you will:

-          Be eager to learn and gain knowledge of the EYFS and Early Years Sector

-          Be open to doing training to expand all skills and knowledge on the job

-          Have a caring and positive approach to working in the early years
