Teaching Consultancy is actively recruiting dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support schools in London.

Our partner schools are specifically looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support students with SEN within the classroom. 

We are looking for candidates who possess a strong grasp of adapting lessons and activities to accommodate various learning styles and creating inclusive environments where every child can thrive academically.


As an SENTeaching Assistant, you will possess the following:

  • Classroom based experienced
  • Opportunities to work in EYFSm KS1 or KS2
  • Experience supporting children with SEN (ASD, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, SEMH)
  • Being a proactive and dedicated;
  • To support children with SEN to enable them to effectively access the curriculum;
  • Some teaching of Phonics may be involved (training provided by the school)
  • Someone who is committed to raising attainment;
  • Experience supporting SEN students and delivering activities/interventions on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Experience in assessing, evaluating, and reporting on pupil progress
  • Ability to use initiative and think on their feet

  • Energetic and patient with strong classroom management skills
  • Passionate about primary education
  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application through Teaching Consultancy
