A high performing academic school in the London Borough of Lewisham are on the hunt for an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team for an ASAP start.

As an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working in a school with the highest academic aspirations, but also where a caring, family-orientated culture is maintained throughout.

This EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant position will involve working with children who have SEN. (EHCP and / or ASD diagnosis) You will support the children to meet academic and social targets and encourage progress in both aspects. You will collaborate with the classroom teacher and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for the student.

EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant

• Working in Early Years provision
• Working with children aged 2 - 5 years old
• Working with SEN - EHCP and / or ASD diagnosis
• Supporting children on a 1:1 and in a small group basis
• Working both in and out of the classroom
• Working closely alongside the SENCO and other professionals
• Strong academics across the board - Degree, A levels and GCSE
