Role:

• Position: SEND Teaching Assistant.
• Location: Erdington, Birmingham
• Salary: £95.55 - £115.55 Daily
• Hours of work: Full time, 8:30am-3:30pm Temporary
• Start Date: June 2024
• End Date: July 2024, with the potential to extend into the new academic year

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the classroom Teacher in daily tasks and activities
• Providing 1:1 support to a pupils with ASD
• Taking an interest in and supporting the wellbeing of students both physically and mentally
• Preparing resources and the classroom
• Monitor pupil progress and identifying gap in learning
• Building trusting relationships with students and prioritising their social and emotional wellbeing.

Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with previous experience SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) within a Pupil Refferal Unit setting.
