Geography Teacher

Job Overview:

An academy on the outskirts of Bristol are seeking a charismatic Geography Teacher to cover a one-year sabbatical leave starting in September. This role involves teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4, inspiring students, and contributing to a dynamic department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging Geography lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices

Qualifications:

• Qualified teacher with QTS and a degree in Geography or related field
• Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4 levels
• Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
• Up-to-date knowledge of the Geography curriculum
• Unfortunately we cannot offer sponsorship for this role
