Waking Nights Support Worker

Are you looking for a full-time, permanent role? Prospero is looking for talented and committed support workers to assist within the residential care homes for children with learning disabilities.
The care homes are part of a large SEN Organisation in Cheadle Hulme.
The organisation comprises of a School, College and Residency and caters for children and young people with complex needs. The children require support within the residential care homes on site. You need to be able to build strong relationships with the children and young people.
The ideal candidate:
- Experience of supporting pupils with SEN on a voluntary or paid basis OR/ experience of supporting those with complex needs in a care setting
- Those who obtain a qualification within Care/SEN
- Strong teamwork ethic
- Driven, energetic and keen to pursue a career in education and special needs
The role will consist of:
- Providing tailored support and working with children with SEN and complex needs
- Personal care
- Creating a safe environment
- Managing and diffusing challenging behaviour
Position Details:
- LOCATION - Cheadle Hulme (SK8)
- POSITION - Support Worker
- CONTRACT TYPE - Temporary - Permanent
- MINIMUM DAILY RATE - £95
- HOURS - Full time Monday - Sunday / 21:45-07:45 - 37.5hrs week
- START DATE - ASAP
