Hello Education are supporting a local Secondary School who are urgently needing a Physical Education Teacher to start in the new Academic term, starting September 2024. This is a MAT cover position to teach Core Physical Education.

We are looking for someone who can teach Physical Education at a Key Stage 3 and a Key Stage 4 level. We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for education and a desire to inspire children. The ideal candidate would have a kind and caring nature, be understanding and compassionate, and have excellent behaviour management skills.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• A relevant degree in Physical Education.
• Previous experience teaching secondary aged children Physical Education.
• Good behaviour management skills.
• A passion for teaching and education, be compassionate & understanding, and encouraging towards children.
• A good knowledge of Safeguarding and the relevant procedures.
• A desire to make a difference in children’s lives.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
