Senior Lecturer / Lecturer in Sport

Location: Manchester

Salary: £36,000 - £47,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

Contract Type: Varied Roles available  (Permanent/Part-time/Fixed-term)

Hours: To be confirmed, depending on contract - Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

The Role

As a Senior Lecturer / Lecturer in Sport, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of their health, physical activity and sports curriculums. Your responsibilities will include delivering engaging sessions, designing curriculum content, and providing mentorship to the students. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of all their sports programmes, ensuring they remain at the forefront of industry trends.

Skills & Experience

  • A passion for physical activity and sport, and a desire to inspire the next generation of health and lifestyle advisors, athletes, coaches, and sports professionals.
  • A relevant postgraduate academic qualification or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students through dynamic and pedagogically sound teaching methods.
  • Experience working in the health, physical activity and sports industry and a solid understanding of current trends and best practices.
  • A collaborative mindset and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
