Maths Teacher

Maths Teacher required for a Good school in Ealing. The school require a Maths teacher that can join their team and hit the ground running, teaching Maths to KS5 with potential for a TLR for the right person. This role is a permanent position starting September 2024.

The school is going through a transformation of growth with an influx of year 7s joining in September, as a result they need a major recruitment drive to meet these needs. They are passionate about supporting staff progress and developing them within their career. You will be joining a dedicated team of teachers within the English Department.

Responsibilities:

• To plan deliver exciting and interesting Maths lessons based on the national curriculum following the schools teaching and learning policies.
• To monitor and support progress and development of all students.
• To contribute to raising attainment overall for all students.
• To follow the behaviour and safeguarding policies when necessary.
• To support and follow the school ethos and values

Qualifications & Experience:

• Have QTS (or equivalent) with a relating undergraduate degree.
• A minimum of one years' experience teaching in mainstream schools
• Be able to work well within a team and have positive relationships with all staff.
• Have good communication skills, both written and verbal, with internal staff, parents, carers, and other outside agencies.
• Proficient IT skills, ideally experience using interactive whiteboards.
• Be proactive, have good time management and organisational skills.
• Be able to motivate students and create a positive learning environment and confidently manage behaviour within the classroom.
