My client is in need of an Electrical Engineering Lecturer based in Hull due to expansion.

My client is a rapidly expanding Group Training Association (GTA) with training centres in Hull, Stallingborough and Scunthorpe. They provide engineering apprentices and adult skills training for hundreds of companies in Yorkshire and Humberside.

They recruit industry specialists who want to make the career change to delivering training and skills.

They are looking for an individual with suitable ability and background who feels they have the right skills and attributes to pass on their knowledge and experience to the next generation of engineers.

This Position involves delivering a range of engineering subjects at Level 4 and Level 5 as part of my clients Engineering NC/HNC/HND programme the majority of which will be in Hull.

Subjects to be taught may include:

• Electrical& ElectronicPrinciples.
• Engineering Maths.
• Engineering Science.
• Instrumentation & Control Systems
• Electronic Circuits & Devices.
• Electrical Systems & Fault Finding
• Further Control Systems
• Industrial Power, Electronics & Storage

There will also be a requirement to facilitate and assess engineering projects at L3 & L4and research project work at Level 5.

Applicants must:

• Be degree qualified.
• Have at least five years relevant industry experience.
• Have excellent technical skills.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills.

A teaching qualification is desirable but full training would be given to the right applicant. 

A full driving licence and use of own vehicle is essential as some travelling between sites may be necessary.
