The ECT:
  • Completed PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • At least a bachelor’s degree in education, or a related subject.
  • A genuine passion for the education and wellbeing of young learners.
  • Dedication to improving the progression levels of KS2 pupils.
  • Commitment to following safeguarding processes.
  • Warm and friendly personality and communication style.
 
The Role
Your responsibilities as a KS2 ECT will include preparing pupils for their SAT examinations and supporting them to improve their progress. You will plan and deliver engaging and stimulating lessons across all aspects of the syllabus and will assess classwork to monitor pupil progress. You will use your knowledge of pupils to adapt learning materials to accommodate individual learning needs and will build strong bonds with both children and staff.
