TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with a private day nursery in the Formby area. The nursery provides exceptional care to 50 plus children who attend the setting daily. Within the site, all staff are trained in the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding, to ensure the best support and care available for all children attending. The children are offered various learning opportunities throughout their days based on their interests, and in line with the EYFS. 

The nursery is looking for an experienced early years assistant to join their team. The correct candidate will be supported by the nursery team, while further enhancing their skills and experiences. You will work across all rooms, with children 6 months to 4 years old, assisting with learning opportunities in a flexible way, to ensure children are meeting their developmental milestones, while having fun at nursery.  

As an Early Years Assistant, you will:

-          Be eager to learn and gain knowledge of the EYFS and Early Years Sector

-          Be open to doing training to expand all skills and knowledge on the job

-          Have a caring and positive approach to working in the early years
