Staff for Education are currently seeking to recruit an English Teacher for a Secondary School in Chesterfield to start in September. This is a full time, long term position that will be until the end of the academic year at least with the possibility of extending into September.

This is a great opportunity to work in a brilliant Secondary School that has fantastic facilities and a strong and supportive team of staff. The school are looking for a dedicated teacher that can make a difference for their students and help them to reach their full potential.

Main responsibilities include:
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons for KS3 and KS4
• Managing student behaviour in line with the schools policies
• Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment
• Regularly assessing and monitoring students’ progress and giving feedback

In order to be considered for the position, you must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification. You must also hold a DBS Certificate on the Online Update Service or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS.
