About the Role

Connex Education are working with an SEN School in Bolton. 

The school are looking to recruit a teacher of English to cover a maternity leave to commence in September 2024.

The role is open to experienced teachers and ECT’s and will consider applications from both KS2, KS3 and KS4 teachers due to the nature of the school and its learners.

The role of English teacher brings with it many rewards and the school are looking to meet with nurturing teachers who have a desire to work with learners within an SEMH school which has it’s own nurture unit.

The successful candidate will be working with small class sizes typically found within SEN schools.

Person Specification

• Have a teaching qualification (BA/PGCE)
• Hold UK QTS
• Experience in schools in the UK
• Be confident in working with potentially challenging behaviour
• Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
