Supply Desk is looking to recruit a passionate Science teacher who can serve as an excellent role model and inspire both pupils and staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Science teacher to begin teaching and help students expand their knowledge and understanding of the subject.

The role/ Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging science lessons that combine practical applications and hands-on activities to increase student participation and understanding.
• Create a supportive and stimulating learning environment that encourages students to ask questions, explore scientific concepts independently, and strive for academic excellence.
• Use differentiated instruction strategies, including visual aids, group work, and technology-based tools, to cater to diverse learning styles and improve student comprehension.
• Regularly assess student performance and understanding through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support student growth and development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design cross-disciplinary projects that integrate science with other subjects, promoting a holistic learning experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest teaching practices and advancements in science education by participating in ongoing professional development opportunities

Ideal Candidate:

• Hold QTS / PGCE or the equivalent (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
• Prior experience of working in a school or teaching science
• Has a strong knowledge of the Science curriculum
• Able to communicate with pupils in an effective way
• Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one
• Has a passionate for teaching science
• Able to commute to Marlow and the surrounding areas
