Teacher of Mathematics

£30,000 – 46,525

Cheltenham

“There should be no such thing as boring mathematics.” - Edsger W. Dijkstra.

Often the word ‘passionate’ is overused in job adverts but I think when it comes to teaching it is imperative. Your passion for Mathematics is going to be the difference between an engaged and disengaged class.

Thrive education are partnering with our Cheltenham based school who promote success and positive values not only for their students but faculty too.

A provision who really champion success across the board and look to promote from within and offer all staff the chance of progression when available.

A modern school with up to date resources and technology ensuring you can deliver exciting and engaging lessons.

Joining a well-established department, with an inclusive and collaborative approach you will feel welcome from day one and afforded all the support and guidance you need to settle in and ensure your students are getting the best version of you.

You will need to hold QTS but they are open to people from all stages in their career, a seasoned pro or up and coming superstar!

What to do next?

Alongside your unwavering passion and interest with the field you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications.
  • Specialisation or experience in teaching Mathematics to Key Stages 3 and 4.

If this sounds like you then reach out to Gareth at Thrive Education or follow the application process on here. I will then look to make some contact and discuss the opportunity in more detail.
