We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and engaging 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a primary aged pupil in a Great Bookham, Surrey primary school. We are very keen to speak to 1:1 Teaching Assistants who are commutable to Great Bookham, Surrey Monday to Friday 08:30 – 15:30. Our young learner has Autism and Communication Needs. 

1:1 Teaching Assistant Responsibilities: 

• Support learners with Autism and communication Needs.
• Be open to learning new skills every day. 
• Establish a warm, caring and supportive relationship with pupils to support them in feeling safe and enable them to enjoy and learn during their time at school.
• Encourage independence and personal development in pupils and maintain high expectations of behaviour.
• Contribute to providing high quality, challenging and differentiated educational activities and experiences by supporting the teaching of a broad and balanced curriculum aiming at pupils achieving their full potential in all areas of learning.
• To promote pupils’ cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development and spiritual well-being.
• Available 08:30 – 15:30 in Great Bookham, Surrey

1:1 Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• You must be enthusiastic to learn and develop your skills.
• Be commutable to Great Bookham, Surrey.
• Have a bubbly and happy personality.
• Able to engage with others well using fantastic communication skills.
• Be dedicated to supporting pupils within special education.
• Have excellent verbal and communication skills.
