The School and Role

Based in a Secondary School in Maghull, this school are looking to appoint a passionate Humanities Science Teacher to teach KS3 - KS4 levels and work as part of an established team.  This is a full-time role, starting in September and until at least January 2025 with the potential to be on-going for the academic year. The successful candidate must have experience of teaching to KS4. The successful applicant will teach at least one of the humanities (Geography, History, and RS) at KS3 and KS4 and will have a degree specialism in one of these areas.

Only teach one of these subjects? We can be flexible and tailor the timetable to you. Due to the forever expanding department, we can offer any of these subjects on a full-time basis, following a successful introduction.

Requirements

The desired Teacher will have;

-          Experience of working with KS3 and KS4 levels

-          Hold QTS in the UK

-          Confidence in teaching the current curriculum

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
