***Supporting KS1 and KS2 pupils with additional and complex learning needs.

Requirements:
  • At least a bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related subject.
  • Genuine care for the wellbeing and education of young learners with special educational needs.
  • A warm, friendly personality, along with the ability to adapt your support style to suit the needs of each individual pupil.
  • Some understanding of additional and complex learning needs.
  • Previous experience of working with children is beneficial, but not mandatory.
 
The Role
In your position as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working alongside a team of talented and experienced teachers to provide high-quality 1-2-1 and small group support to inspirational KS1 and KS2 SEN pupils. You will be responsible for monitoring and assessing pupil progress and attainment to identify adaptations to learning materials that can be made to accommodate all unique needs. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will assist staff in creating a positive learning environment and will enthusiastically partake in activities with the wider school community.
