Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Salford
Start Date: September 2024
Salary: £180-£200 per day (dependant on experience)
Are you a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher with a proven track record in strong behaviour management? We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Secondary School PE Teacher to join an OFSTED rated 'Good' school in Salford. This is a temporary position starting ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and preparing PE lessons up to KS4 level.
- Utilize strong behaviour management strategies to ensure a conducive atmosphere for learning.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic and personal development.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the PE department and the school.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE in Secondary Education. Must specialise in PE
- A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate or a willingness to obtain one before starting.
Skills and Attributes:
- Exceptional behaviour management skills to create a positive and focused learning environment.
- Ability to use a range of workshop tools and equipment and have a working understanding of how they are maintained
- Plan, prepare and deliver PETeacher lessons up till KS4
