Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a qualified teacher of Drama looking for a new role for September 2024 in Manchester?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic Drama teacher to join an Ofsted Outstanding secondary academy in Manchester.

This is a full-time temporary supply teaching role from September 2024 to December 2024 in the first instance.

The Role

Teacher of Drama and Performing Arts

Five days a week.

Teaching AQA GCSE Drama including :

Characteristics of performance texts and their social, cultural and historical context

The roles and responsibilities of theatre makers in contemporary professional practice

Drama and theatre terminology and how to use it appropriately

Live Theatre production

The ability to teach Music to Key stage 3 would be beneficial.

Teachers looking for more responsibility as lead teacher or second in department would be welcome.

The academy are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers and experienced QTS practitioners.

To join us and be successful in this Drama Teacher role, you will need to:

Hold QTS Status or QTLS

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks

Provide a CV with full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained

Have the legal right to work full time in the UK with no restrictions

Ideally, be able to provide excellent references or have experience in an Ofsted Outstanding school
