Salary: £150-£220 per day (Salary dependent on experience)

We are seeking a Qualified PMLD Teacher to join our vibrant client school in Barking & Dagenham. As a PMLD Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality education and support to students with complex needs. You will utilize your expertise to tailor learning experiences, promote independence, and nurture the holistic development of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of students with PMLD.
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and sensory-based learning approaches.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and valued.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including therapists and support staff, to ensure a holistic approach to student care and development.
• Regularly assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly to maximize learning outcomes.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience working with students with PMLD.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of PMLD strategies, sensory integration, and communication techniques.
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting students with complex needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
