Role Overview: As a Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth operation of our organisation. Reporting directly to the Nursery Manager, you’ll assist in various aspects of business management, ensuring efficient processes, team coordination, and adherence to company policies. Your ability to lead, communicate effectively, and make informed decisions will be crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with senior management, department heads, and stakeholders to analyse company performance.
  • Identify potential risks and formulate strategies based on market insights.
  • Contribute to the development of corporate objectives and procedures.
  • Provide input on critical decisions impacting project outcomes.

Monitoring Business Activities:

  • Oversee the execution of business plans and programmes.
  • Evaluate employee performance, provide constructive feedback, and communicate expectations.
  • Coordinate with various departments (marketing, finance, operations, sales, HR) to ensure policy compliance.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Step in for the Manager when needed.
  • Communicate tasks clearly to team members.
  • Ensure company guidelines are followed.
  • Monitor progress and offer support to achieve objectives.

Resource Management:

  • Manage personnel, budgets, and other resources efficiently.
  • Allocate tasks to team members effectively.
  • Facilitate communication between managerial staff and frontline employees.

Quality Standards and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures.
  • Act as a conduit between management and employees.

Communication:

  • Keep senior managers informed of team projects and outcomes.
  • Foster open communication within the organisation.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of Level 3 in Early Years
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience working as a Third-in-Charge/Room Leader
  • Excellent organisational and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing situations.
