Think FE is excited to be working with a well established and growing college in the North East to find a talented and committed Maths lecturer to deliver GCSE Maths to re-sit students within the college.
Salary: £28,419 - £41,874 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent, 37 hours per week
Location: North Yorkshire
Start date: End of August

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver GCSE Maths lessons to students who are attending the college and studying other courses. The students will be re-sitting Maths, so the role needs a teacher who has patience and can make lessons exciting for those who don’t necessarily have a natural aptitude for the subject.
- You will also be happy to teach foundation and functional skills maths
- Develop and implement lesson plans, resources, and assessments.
- Encourage student engagement and academic achievement.
- Contribute to staff development and departmental initiatives.
- A degree in Mathematics or equivalent
- Hold a PGCE qualification or an equivalent Teaching Qualification.
- Someone passionate about the subject and keeps up to date with subject knowledge
- Someone who has experience and has good classroom management
- An incredible Teachers pension of 28.68% !!!
