About the role

As a Drama and Dance Teacher, you'll play a vital role in inspiring students to succeed and achieve their best. With energy and enthusiasm, you'll deliver engaging lessons that motivate and captivate pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and teach well-structured drama and dance lessons
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching to individual needs
  • Set high expectations to inspire and challenge students
  • Contribute to school policies and procedures
  • Promote a safe and positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and professionals
  • Ideally, run 2 weekly after-school dance clubs (remuneration to salary)

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual, committed to the success and well-being of students, you will also have:

  • Qualified teacher status (desirable)
  • Experience in primary teaching
  • Ability to teach and choreograph tap and other dances
  • Up to degree-level education
