Teaching Assistants
Location: PLYMOUTH
Salary Scale: £80 - £85 per day
Start Date: Immediately
Contract: Long-term, Permanent, Supply

We are currently seeking to appoint friendly and compassionate individuals to work as Teaching Assistants in primary, secondary, and SEN schools across Plymouth and surrounding areas to inspire students to reach their highest potential within a nurturing and safe learning environment.

We do not require you to have any teaching-specific qualifications for the Teaching Assistant role. Candidates who can drive will be considered for this position.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to:

• Offer support to individual students in small and large groups  
• Work collaboratively with teachers to ensure students are appropriately supported. 
• Prepare learning activities for individual’s groups and for classes 

• Monitor individual and/or directed pupils and provide intervention when necessary
• Assess, record and report on individual student's achievement, progress and development. 
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for all students
• Create opportunities for all learner to reach their potential, irrespective of ability

• Be an effective member of the school community, contributing to all aspects of support within school. 

The deserving candidate must:

• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Have a Child Enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one.
• Be committed to safeguarding.
• Be adaptable, enthusiastic, and enjoy working with young people of all backgrounds.
