We are presently in search of an Exams Officer to join a lovely secondary school in Merton, with the position commencing immediately/ September 2024 start and lasting until the culmination of the academic year.

As the Exams Officer, your primary role involves coordinating and overseeing all facets of both internal and external examinations, ensuring strict adherence to examination board regulations. This entails close collaboration with teaching staff, exam boards, and students to facilitate efficient and accurate exam arrangements. Your responsibilities also extend to meticulously recording and reporting all examination results.

Furthermore, you will be tasked with maintaining precise records of all examination entries, securely storing examination materials, and appropriately distributing them to examination venues. The role also encompasses ensuring that examination rooms are adequately set up and equipped, overseeing the allocation of invigilators, and managing the examination timetable.

To be eligible for this role, you must exhibit outstanding organisational and administrative skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage your workload. Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is crucial, and effective communication with various stakeholders, including students, teachers, and examination boards, is paramount.
