Tradewind's partner school has an exceptional reputation within the local area for student behaviour and the improvement of academic attainment over the past 10 years. For teachers, the school takes pride on their retention and overall well-being of staff at the school.

The Business department is an incredibly important faculty within the school, with leaders describing the subject as the heart of the curriculum. The school values their students overall preparedness for the 21st century world, and a focus on teaching enterprise and developing business awareness is a priority for their teaching. The school take part in regular business enterprise competitions both internally and externally to the school and a dedicated Head of Department supports promoting a love of the subject.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Business lessons across Key Stage 3 - 5.
  • Parents Evening attendance
  • Support with the planning and organising of school trips.
  • AQA Syllabus
  • Support with revision sessions
  • Embrace the role of a form tutor, supporting students' personal growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a proven track record of excellent teaching.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate to ensure a safe learning environment.
  • Open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs), offering a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
  • A strong drive and determination to progress students' business skills and overall learning.
  • An availability to start on the 1st week of the 2024/25 Academic Calendar
