Exciting opportunity for a Functional Skills lecturer to join an experienced team at a local college.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Maths & English Functional skills
  • Contextualise the curriculum where needed.
  • Classroom management
  • Marking and assessing

Requirements:

  • A Teaching Qualification, such as Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLLS, CTLLS, or PTLLS/AET.
  • Preferably a relevant degree
  • Demonstratable experience of teaching Functional skills previously
  • Good working knowledge of current curriculum
