We are seeking for amazing, enthusiastic Year 2 teacher to join the school community!

A Ofsted rated ‘good’ primary school in Newcastle upon Tyne are seeking a warm and friendly Year 2 teacher. The primary school  who values their children with a friendly and supportive staff. The headteacher is looking for an enthusiastic teacher who is excited to join a friendly school.

Year 2 Teacher Role

• Teach all areas of the primary curriculum.
• Take responsibility for the progress of a class of primary-age pupils.
• Model good teaching practice to engage and inspire students of all abilities both in and out of lessons.
• Have excellent team spirit and good behaviour management skills.
• Be passionate about teaching and have a strong command of the curriculum
• Providing an outstanding level of safeguarding and pastoral care

The ideal candidate will:

•  Be available for work Monday to Friday

•  Hold a degree and QTS

•  Have experience as a KS1 teacher (desirable not essential)

•  ECT’s are welcome to apply

•  Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring

•  An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves)

•  A full checkable work history
