The Supply Register is currently working alongside The Leigh UTC and Inspiration Academy in Dartford to find a dedicated teacher of Computer Science and Digital T Level to join the school from September 2024 on a permanent basis.

As a Teacher of Computer Science and Digital T Level, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons in computer science and digital technology to students aged 14-19. You will play a key role in designing and implementing the curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of our diverse student body and aligns with industry standards and advancements. Additionally, you will guide students through their T Level qualifications, providing support and guidance as they develop practical skills and knowledge relevant to the digital sector.

The ideal candidate will have an infectious passion for computing and will help all students understand the important role that the subject plays in all of our lives whilst also developing young professionals for the future.

Responsibilities

• Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
• Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils
• Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
• Plan and teach structured lessons
• Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
• Make accurate and productive use of assessment

Requirements

• Must hold the Right to work in the UK
• Must be a qualified teacher with QTS
• Must hold an enhanced DBS registered on the update service
• Must be able to provide 24 months worth of professional references
