KS1 Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Wembley 

We are currently working with an excellent school in Wembley (HA9) who are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant who can provide emergency or planned cover in Year 1 or Year 2 to start working with them as soon as possible! Ideally, you will have to have a HLTA Qualification and have experience in SEND and delivering interventions and may be assigned to supervise groups in the nurture base. 

If you have the right attitude, wiling to learn and can be committed to the role, then this may be for you! Compassion, understanding and patience are all qualities you will need to succeed in this position long term. 

Requirements:

  • This is a full-time role starting ASAP 
  • Prior experience working with children is an asset.
  • Be able to provide two references from the past 2 years.
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship
  • Safeguarding and Prevent Training – we can provide you with this.
  • Register with Vision Teaching and follow all compliance procedures.
