Head of Department - Computer Science and ICT

Location: NG10 - Long Eaton

Pay: Day rate in line with MPS/UPS Plus TLR (£150 - £250 per day)

A vacancy has become available to lead the Computer Science and ICT department at a leading Secondary School in Long Eaton. We are looking to appoint a knowledgeable and passionate teacher, who will take on the leadership of this valued and popular subject, alongside a teaching allocation. The successful candidate will be able to integrate into the existing department, understand the context of the school, and continue to develop the curriculum which has a range of strengths.

The department consists of three teachers, who are dedicated professionals, and work with colleagues across the Trust to share and develop resources. Students study ICT at Key Stage 3 and Computer Science at Key Stage 4 and 5. The Computer Science and ICT subjects are a very popular choice at both GCSE and A Level.

The Department offers a wide range of extracurricular activities and clubs, alongside a number of trips and residentials linked to the subjects within the Department.
