Career Teachers are supporting the Headteacher of a secondary school in Oldham, Greater Manchester who wish to appoint an English Teacher on a permanent basis from September 2024.

The successful candidate will be:

• An English Teacher with QTS/QTLS (ECT's will be considered)
• Innovative, diligent, flexible and with a drive for improvement
• A dedicated team player who develops excellent relationships with pupils and staff alike
• Professional, always leading by example
• Committed and possess initiative with a 'can do' approach
• Willing to participate in personal continued professional development.

There are currently around 1500 pupils on roll and a team of 6 in the English Department. There is definitely scope for progression in this school as they are striving for improvement over the remainder of this academic year and beyond.
