Dunbar is looking to recruit a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a role in a Bedford Primary School starting Immediately.

The hours are 8:30am-1:30pm, Monday-Friday and will be a temporary role with potential to turn into permanent.

The ideal candidate will be caring, nurturing, passionate about helping children and having knowledge of the curriculum as the role is for a Reception class.

The main responsibilites for this role:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• The ability to be flexible and work as part of a team
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Experience of working within an Early Years setting
• Have high expectations of pupil achievement and progress
• Knowledge of how to support teaching and learning effectively and efficiently
• Knowledge of ways to adapt and personalise learning to cater for the needs of individual children, particularly those with additional needs
• A range of behaviour management strategies, underpinned by a calm and caring approach.
• A professional manner with excellent communication skills
