***Supporting pupils with additional learning needs in a 1-2-1 and small group setting.
 
Requirements:
  • At least a bachelor’s degree in psychology, or a related field.
  • Some understanding of special educational needs and how you can aid in accommodating these.
  • A warm, friendly personality that you can utilise to form strong bonds with pupils.
  • A dedication to upholding safeguarding processes to ensure the safety and well-being of pupils.
 
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting children aged 3-11 in 1-2-1 and small group settings. You will assist teaching staff in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons that adhere to the national curriculum and will adapt learning materials to suit the needs of each individual pupil. You will form strong bonds with students, staff and parents to ensure that the maximum potential of each pupil is fulfilled and will partake in activities with the wider school community to create a positive learning environment.
