Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join this setting on a full time basis commencing September 2024.The position may require you to support pupils across the school, from Early Years to Key Stage 5

The successful candidate will have a profound impact on the lives of children with complex needs, helping them to achieve their full potential through tailored education plans and compassionate support. The school are looking for en experienced educator who is dedicated to supporting the schools journey to improvement. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Create individualised education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress closely, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to ensure the holistic development of each child.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/carers, providing regular updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns sensitively.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with complex needs.
  • Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
