This selective Academy Grammar School is seeking an enthusiastic teacher of physics to lead and manage this well-established sub-department. The successful candidate will be expected to teach throughout the School, including A Level, as well as provide guidance, and act as a role model, for other teaching colleagues within the Department. All middle leaders are expected to make a contribution to the broader development of the School.
The science department is well-resourced and all teaching staff have access to excellent support and professional development opportunities. The School offers a friendly but determined working environment, with an academic culture that is challenging, rigorous and student-centred.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (DEPENDING ON THE ROLE)
- Plan and deliver lessons for varied levels of ability.
- Foster proactive and collaborative teamwork within the school community.
- Embrace adaptability and flexibility in teaching approaches.

REQUIREMENTS
- Fully qualified Teacher with QTS in the UK
- Experience with varied ability levels
- High standard of literacy
- Excellent ICT skills
- Proactive, adaptable, and a team player
