EYFS Teaching Assistant | Birmingham, B14 | £85 - £100 per day | September 2024 | Long-term to Perm

LTF Recruitment are currently working with an excellent 'OFSTED' Good rated school in Yardley Wood, who are seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to work within their vibrant school, for the new academic year. In this role you will be a key person in managing the experience of pupils, you will have a welcoming and warm manner, and build confidence in their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher within a mainstream classroom to deliver the EYFS Curriculum.
  • Introduce fun activities and games to promote socialisation and inclusivity.
  • Adapt your support and teaching approach to meet the diverse needs of the children which may include SEN.
  • Closely work with pupils who experience difficulties in the classroom.

An ideal candidate would:

  • Possess broad knowledge of the Early Years curriculum.
  • Have a passion to support and engage children with a range of learning needs.
  • Hold relevant training and/or qualifications in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
