Are you a passionate education graduate seeking a long-term role as a Teaching Assistant?

Tradewind are currently supporting one of our client schools in St. Helens who are seeking a Teaching Assistant for a long-term role starting in September. This position is full-time, expected to continue for at least 1 term, with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate. Pay for this position starts at £85 per day.

The successful Teaching Assistant will be joining a secondary school whose aim is to help each and every pupil to develop to their full potential, bearing in mind individual needs and abilities. Our client school recognises that all children are different and may have very different needs.

Teaching Assistants at our client school undertake ongoing professional development training on a weekly basis in order to understand how best to meet the needs of all students.

To be considered for this Teaching Assistant position in St. Helens the essentials are:

• Experience either paid or voluntary working with secondary aged students;
• A can do attitude with excellent reliability
• Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
• Full and complete career history
• Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
• Legal right to work in the UK
