A Business Studies Teacher is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in East London.

You will need to teach KS4 and KS5 classes for this Business Studies Teacher role.

This Business Studies Teacher role will be full time and permanent.

The salary for this Business Studies Teacher position will be between £34514 to £51179 per annum, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each candidate.

The School

There is currently no Ofsted rating for the school, as it has only recently opened.

A heavy focus is placed on Grammar at the school.

Students are entered in to GCSE and EPQ qualifications.

From Year 7 to Year 11, all pupils learn the 3 Core Sciences, English, Maths, Ethics and Sports.

At 6th Form level, all pupils must take up a Maths and Science course. They must then choose two more subjects from Philosophy, Economics, Humanities, Latin, English Literature or Art. The reason for this is because the school wants to produce future scientists, medics and engineers.

Currently the school is split across two different sites that fall in two neighbouring boroughs, with one acting as the main site for lower school and the other acting as the upper school site.

Requirements

You are welcome to apply if you are a newly qualified Business Studies Teacher or experienced Business Studies Teacher.

• UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
• Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
• Experience of teaching as a Business Studies Teacher in UK schools
