Zest Education are recruiting for an ECT to start in a lovely two form primary school based in Mickleover from September 2024. This ‘Good’ primary school is offering this fantastic opportunity to an individual who wishes to develop their natural ability to lead and motivate children, with the chance to work alongside expert professionals in a warm and welcoming environment. You will be supported and assisted the whole way through your two-year induction.

Working as an Early Careers Teacher (ECT) you will:

•             Deliver exciting lessons to match the schools teaching policies and procedures.

•             Utilise support staff to ensure that you are meeting the needs within the classroom.

•             Provide feedback for pupils; verbal and written.

•             Attend staff meetings, training and communicate effectively with staff and parents.

•             Set boundaries within the classroom by having clear rules and routines for the children.

•             Use Planning, Preparation and Assessment time (PPA) effectively to maintain a work life balance.

The role is due to start September 2024.

ECTS’s are highly advised to apply for the role. Pay is dependent on references and experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
