Role and Responsibilities:

• Implement effective classroom management strategies to foster a positive and productive learning environment
• Address the diverse abilities and learning needs of all students.
• Integrate technology and various resources into lesson plans to boost student engagement and understanding
• Provide timely and constructive feedback on assignments and assessments.
• Stay informed about educational trends and research in mathematics instruction, incorporating new methodologies into teaching practices
• Engage in professional development workshops and conferences to continuously enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational standards
• Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress, set goals, and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with special education teachers and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Organise and supervise extracurricular activities related to mathematics, such as math clubs and competitions.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have recent experience in teaching in schools
• Strong knowledge of the UK math curricular
• Degree and QTS Desirable (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
• Be a committed team player
• Be confident and adaptable to different environments
• Have strong classroom management skills
