 Teaching Personnel is collaborating closely with several schools in Hailsham that cater to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs stemming from various life experiences, including trauma, neglect, PTSD, and difficult upbringings.

We are seeking resilient, reliable, and nurturing individuals to join us as Behaviour Mentors. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting both primary and secondary-aged pupils as they navigate through their educational journey and develop socially and emotionally.

Due to their trauma and life experiences, these students may exhibit withdrawal from education, anxiety, challenging behaviour, and attachment disorders. Your role as a Behaviour Mentor will be to provide consistent support, understanding, and guidance to help them overcome these obstacles and thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with students across a range of academic subjects, fostering a supportive learning environment where they feel valued and empowered. Your resilience and dedication will be instrumental in building positive relationships with students and helping them unlock their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
